Opinions…everyone’s got them, everyone loves to share them…and they rarely help you stay on track towards making your aspiration a reality. Time and time again, I see people taken off track because they start listening to other’s opinions. While outside perspectives and experts play a part in becoming unstoppable, your true power and tenacity are always going to come from your connection to your Heartset. The practice of connecting to your Heartset will be invaluable on your journey, so we want to share a few ways that you can begin practicing right now (yep, right now):
- Take 3 long, slow, deep breaths. I haven’t found any other practice as quick and effective as the simple act of taking 3 long, slow, deep breaths. Instant centering and an opportunity to connect with your Heartset.
- Visioning every day. Consistently immersing yourself in the experience of doing/being/having your aspiration creates energy and excitement, while also reminding yourself to stay true to that vision and not fall prey to other’s opinions. - Create boundaries that preserve all the energy of your Heartset, while keeping out external pulls for your time, energy and attention. Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, by Ian McKeown, is a great resource for developing a laser focus on your aspiration that creates bigger results, faster because you are in constant connection with your truth and priorities.
