The Unstoppable Diaries

Logan and Anna each share their different experiences with Unstoppable U™, the Trifecta of Unstoppable, and all the twists and turns of an amazing journey.

Anna’s Diary #7 – Unstoppable When Things Are Upside-Down

Part of Logan’s and my working through the Unstoppable U™ program ourselves is to show and talk about the real-life process, and how it looks when you do it.  And one of the things that will come up as you go – and which has come up for me – is this: How the f*ck can I be unstoppable when my life just got turned upside-down?!? That’s where I am this week.  COVID-19 has completely changed everything for everyone and I’m no exception.  I’m not sick, nor is my family, and we are still working.  But staying well is complicated, working from home ditto …

Anna’s Diary #6 – Possibility Generator!

Feeling stuck is the WORST.  That feeling that you are out of options, all the doors are closed, and you are out of the game – it leads to a whole load of thought distortions and catastrophizing and all the things we do to ourselves when we feel stopped. Getting stopped is part of being unstoppable. Think about that for just a moment.  That is the #1 thing I am struck by in Module 2, Lesson 3:  that getting stopped sometimes isn’t just natural, it’s required.  It seems counterintuitive because we have so many emotional reactions and automatic responses that shriek “it’s all over!”  But the …

Logan’s Video Diary #6

Today’s diary entry is all about looking at my personal myths — my self-limiting, fear based myths about who I am (and am not). Seeing, understanding and then REWRITING your personal myths is one of the most powerful skills that our work offers. I want every woman to become an expert myth buster!

Anna’s Diary #5 – The Possibility Arc

The thing about possibility is that it is so huge and yet so fragile – it lives inside us, and that’s a space where our Myths and Sirens love to hang out too. But it’s also the most magical creative space you can find to explore what is possible.  And when I was working with the Possibility Arc I realized that while my personal Myths (see my earlier post about Mythbusting) are well-established and quite comfy there, they also are really, really predictable.  And so the Possibility Arc really does, as Logan likes to say, spoil the joke – it breaks up …

Anna’s Diary #4 – Mythbusting

I thought I would really struggle with the Mythbusting activities because I know there is a part of me that loves the stories I have grown up with about myself and the world.  That’s been a challenge for me in the past – trying to say “that just isn’t true” in the face of things that FEEL completely true and have been with me for literally decades. But what I found when I used the materials from this lesson (the Mythbusting and Personal Mythology worksheets) was a sense of freedom that came from actually writing down my Myths and then having …

Anna’s Diary #3 – Skillset, Day 3

Well – Skillset, and Lesson 3 of Module 1, is SUPER-dense.  So I’m just doing an entry today on the first element of the lesson, Habits.  Habits are one of my favorite things to work with, because setting new habits gives me a huge sense of agency and self-efficacy.  And playing with the idea of habits in Experiment One (there are three different experiments in this lesson, each corresponding to one of the elements of Skillset: habits, structures, support) makes me feel very expansive – I see so much that I didn’t before. Looking at Lesson 2’s Mindset Buster Worksheet, part 1, I can …
